Grace Harvey has achieved podium success at multiple major internationals in recent years - swimming to a superb SB5 100m Breaststroke silver at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, and the following year becoming world champion in the event at Madeira 2022.
Grace took a hat-trick of medals at her first Para Swimming World Championships in 2022, with SB5 100m Breaststroke gold accompanied by SM6 200m Individual Medley silver and S6 100m Freestyle bronze. Harvey will be aiming to retain her world title at Manchester 2023 after her inclusion was confirmed in following her performances at the Sheffield leg of the World Series in March.
Harvey, who trains at the British Para-Swimming National Performance Centre in Manchester, undertook a busy programme at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games that included five individual events, four finals, and secured a brilliant SB5 100m Breaststroke silver on her first Games appearance.
Her full senior international debut came at the 2018 World Para Swimming European Championships in Dublin. There, she claimed a bronze medal in the S6 100m Backstroke and demonstrating her ever-growing talent, as well as delivering a number of finals swims throughout the meet.
