The LEN European Junior Diving Championships will take from 30 June to 5 July at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh.
Events & Participation
Divers, both male and female are separated into two categories based on age:
- Category A- 16 - 18 years
- Category B- 14-15 years
There is then three individual events for each gender per category:
- 1m Springboard
- 3m Springboard
- Platform
For synchronised diving, the categories are combined. There are then two male and two female events:
- 3m Springboard
- Platform
Jump Event
The JUMP Junior Mixed Performance Event is the showpiece team competition of the week. Teams of two to four divers from both genders and categories must perform just one dive in each of the five JUMP events:
- 1m Synchro (Mixed)
- 1m Springboard (Male or Female)
- 3m Synchro (Mixed)
- 3m Springboard (Male of Female)
- Platform (Male of Female)
Both genders and categories must perform at least one individual dive and a minimum of four types of dive (Forward, Backward, Reverse, Inward, Twist or Armstand) must be used.
