Employees have the option to join the Aquatics GB private healthcare scheme, provided by Vitality.
Cycle to Work
Aquatics GB works in partnership with cyclescheme.co.uk to offer employees the opportunity to loan cycles and cyclist’s safety equipment as a tax-free benefit. The Cycle to Work scheme is a UK Government tax exemption initiative to promote healthier journeys to work and to reduce environmental pollution.
Simply Health
Aquatics GB provides all employees with the opportunity to be part of the Simply Health cash plan.
This benefit allows employees to claim back cash spent on a varietty of treatments and services, including dental treatments and physiotherapy.
Agile Working
Aquatics GB believes that flexible working increases motivation, promotes and supports a positive work-life balance, reduces stress and improves performance and productivity.
Employees have the flexibility to work from the office and from home. Full time employees are able to work from home up to three times per week and from an Aquatics GB office twice a week.

As part of Aquatic GB's commitment to sustainability and a greener future we work in partnership with Octopus to offer the Octopus Electric Dreams car scheme to employees.
Octopus Electric Dreams is a 100% electric vehicle (EV) salary sacrifice scheme, which enables employees to make significant savings on their monthly car costs while making a switch to a brand new electric vehicle.
The employee pays for the vehicle with a portion of their gross salary meaning they save money on National Insurance and Income Tax.
Life Insurance
Aquatics GB provides employees with a life insurance, which is four times their annual salary.
Free Parking at SportPark
There is free car parking available at SportPark for all employees
Eye Test and Glasses
Aquatics GB covers the cost of one eye test, up to the value of £30.00, every two years for employees.
If an employee requires glasses/contact lenses to correct eye or vision defects for the purposes of DSE work, Aquatics GB will pay a contribution of £75.00 towards the cost of basic frames or prescribed lenses once every two years.
Pension Scheme
Aquatics GB offer a pension scheme through Aegon to employees. New employees are automatically enrolled after 3 months service at a default 4% contribution.
Employees can increase their contributions and Aquatics GB will match contributions up to 6%.
Long Service
Aquatics GB recognises and rewards employees for their commitment and loyalty to the organisation as follows:
- 5 years’ service employees receive an additional 5 days annual leave per annum (pro rata for part-time employees) and 10 years’ service employees receive an additional 3 days annual leave per annum (pro rata for part time employees)
- Every 5 years between 15 and 40 years service employees receive a gift voucher for a retailer of their choice which starts at £150 (15 years) and increases to £400 (40 years)

Other Benefits
Volunteer Leave
Aquatics GB endorse and support a culture of volunteering and therefore employees are able to request volunteer leave of up to 5 days paid volunteer leave per annum. Employees can request further a 2.5 days paid volunteer leave if 2.5 days of their annual leave is used. The days are pro rata for part time employees.
Aquatics Conference
Employees are required to attend an aquatics conference every biennially.
Awards Dinner
Employees are required to attend an annual athlete awards dinner. A celebration dinner and drinks with colleagues.
Christmas Event
Employees are invited to an annual Christmas event – an opportunity for employees to come together in a social environment.
A Birthday Day Off
Employees are not required to attend work on their birthday if their birthday falls on a working day.
A Company Day Off
One company day off is given to employees annually, usually around Christmas. However, employees have the ability to use an alternative date for the company day off in order to celebrate a religious holiday or if they are unable to take the specified company day off due to work commitments.

Aquatics GB works in partnership with Gray Dawes, the organisations travel agent. Employees can use Ventur Luxury Travel a travel agent to search and book personal travel.
