Duncan Scott 4x200 Relay Paris 2024

Following the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Aquatics GB is seeking to appoint a Head Coach to lead the Swimming GB Team to LA and beyond. The Head Coach position is part of the wider World Class Aquatics Team and reports directly into to the Performance Director.

The purpose of the role is to lead and develop technical performance standards for the Swimming GB World Class Performance Programme and to lead the technical content and coach development methodology to support elite coach development in Great Britain.

The successful candidate will have extensive on-deck swimming coaching experience and have achieved medal success at Senior World and Olympic level. The post holder will need to act as a positive influence at all times, setting high professional standards and promoting full commitment to the programme and be able to demonstrate how to continually set stretch targets and challenge themselves professionally.

The individual will need to be able to work effectively under pressure, be adaptable, work on their own initiative on own and as part of a diverse team, possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to build positive working relationships quickly.

The post will require working extended hours both during the week and at weekends and will involve significant domestic and international travel.
