GB Synchro swimmers Jorja Brown and Genevieve Randall finished narrowly outside of the medals on the opening day of the British Gas Synchronised Swimming Championships at Ponds Forge.
Great Britain’s Brown ranked fourth with 74.1600 and was followed by teammate Randall in fifth place with a score of 73.1927.
National Performance Director, Biz Price commented, “It was disappointing not to get a medal in the Figures, especially as Jorja came fourth and was only 0.5 points away from bronze.
"The scores are really encouraging for the Synchro World Cup,"
In the domestic Junior Figures competition Corrie Leech representing Bristol Central scored 70.6655 to secure the gold medal while the second and third podium spots were awarded to Phoebe Bradley-Smith of City of Brimingham SC (69.5818) and Esme Lower of Reading Royals SSC (67.6400).
