The biggest domestic Synchronised Swimming competition is set to take place in Sheffield from 11 – 13 April at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre.
The event will see athletes competing in Olympic events of Duet and Team but also will showcase their skills in the Solo, Figures and Combination.
Rushmoor will be going into the event as reigning champions in the Team event and will be looking to continue their run in Sheffield.
Reading Royals finished just behind Rushmoor in 2013 and will be hoping to put in another strong performance this year.
British Duet of Genevieve Randall, Amy Campbell and Hannah Randall (final lineup tbc) will face tough competition from two Dutch Duets and Canada’s Duet of Jacqueline Simoneau and Karine Thomas.
Thomas finished in sixth place at the 2013 World Championships with Duet partner Chloe Isaac.
Bristol Central starred at last year’s event with gold in the Combination after beating Rushmoor by just 0.4 points. This year will prove to be as competitive with both clubs striving for that number one spot once again.
British Gas GBR Synchronised Swimming team members Amy Campbell and Genevieve Randall will also be aiming to showcase their skills and technique in the Solo event where they will go up against World Championship soloist Margot de Graaf (Netherlands)
