The British Gas GBR Synchronised Swimming team finished fifth in the Free Combination at the French Open in Paris.
The ten-strong team included Genevieve Randall, Amy Campbell, Jodie Cowie, Jorja Brown, Sophie Randle, Imogen Smith, Emily Randall, Emma Critchley, Chloe Shortman and Danielle Cooper who are all competing together for the first time.
They performed the Dolls inspired routine that was used at the 2011 World Championships. The routine includes complex figures and begins with a baby catch from the side of the pool.
They secured their fifth place finish with 79.1667.
In the Duet Free Genevieve Randall and Amy Campbell progressed to the final after scoring 78.7333 and will swim again later today.
