Great Britain's Women's 3m Synchro pair of Grace Reid and Kat Torrance narrowly miss out on a medal in the penultimate event of the 2018 European Championships.
The pair were in charge through to the fourth round with a comfortable lead however in the final round the pair dropped their Forward 2½ Somersaults 1 Twist Piked after Kat Torrance slipped out of position and was unable to complete the dive.
Reid explained, "There was no rhyme nor reason why it happened, it's just sport and that's the final result. We can go back and analyse the result until the cows come home but that won't change what happened.
"We're obviously a little disappointed with the outcome of today but it's just the nature of the diving, both Kat and I will be back next season and we'll be better and stronger."
Their final score of 270.90 ranked them fourth overall.
The gold medal and European title was claimed by Elena Bertocchi and Chiara Pellacani of Italy with 289.26 points, silver went to Germany's Lena Hentschel and Tina Punzel with 286.80 points. The bronze medal went to Russia, represented by Nadezhda Bazina and Kristina Ilinykh with 282.90.
