Emerging British breaststroke talent Katie Matts won her second medal of the FINA World Junior Championships when she reaffirmed her potential with a bronze in the 100m event.
Matts, with a bronze from the shorter, 50m event earlier in the week, held her stroke all the way to the wall to take another podium finish on day four in Singapore.
Goergia Coates also added her second medal of the championships when she took bronze in the 200m Individual Medley to add to her silver from the 400m IM.
Coates turned in a strong performance in a final that saw gold go to Viktoria Gunes of Turkey in a new World Junior Record.
Britain had two finalists in the Women’s 400m Freestyle and it was Holly Hibbott who finished highest in fifth place while Chloe Finch was just over a second behind in eighth. Charlie Attwood went in the Men’s 200m Breaststroke final and placed seventh.
