The British Summer Championships 2017 are just over three weeks away, the competition will play host to some of the UK's top swimmers and will be the final major meet of the season for many.
The Championships will continue to form part of a broader Performance Pathway Strategy aimed at increasing and supporting junior talent on the journey towards senior medal-winning performances, as well as offering more athletes across the home nations an opportunity to compete at one of the end of season events.
The meet is the only qualification event for the Para-Swimmers hoping to gain selection to the British team heading to Mexico for the World Para-Swimming Championships in October. Paralympic Champions Ollie Hynd, Matt Wylie, Ellie Robinson and Hannah Russell will be among the athletes in Sheffield who will be aiming to compete in Mexico.
