With less than 100 days to go until the 2023 Para Swimming World Championships get underway in Manchester, there’s never a better time to secure yourself a place in the action – and tickets are now on general sale.
Both heats and finals tickets are available for purchase for the event - which runs from 31st July – 6th August – with limited availability in some sessions due to a high level of interest during the presale period.
Following Great Britain’s success at last year’s event in Madeira and at the previous UK-based Worlds in 2019, the team named back in March will be looking to improve on their tally on home soil at the newly-refurbished Manchester Aquatics Centre. Multiple Paralympic champions Maisie Summers-Newton and Bethany Firth are among those competing, as well as world-record holder Stephen Clegg and Paralympic medallist Ellie Challis, who trains at the British Para-Swimming Performance Centre, based at the MAC.
Tickets for individual weekday heats sessions are priced at £11 for adults and £5.50 for juniors (16 & under), whilst individual weekend heats sessions are £14.30 for adults and £8.80 for juniors.
The finals sessions will see medallists from across the classifications taking to the podium, and world champions being crowned. Weekday individual finals tickets are £16.50 for adults and £8.80 for juniors, whilst weekend prices are £19.80 for adults and £11 for juniors.
There are also a number of accessible tickets on sale for the event, with each ticket purchased entitled to a free companion ticket. All prices are subject to a booking fee and tickets are first come first served.
